Chris Lawrence
Since 1996, Chris Lawrence
has been a consultant specialising in Information and
Communication Technology, particularly as applied to SMEs
and voluntary organisations.
Chris has worked extensively
in digital inclusion in Ayrshire, Tayside, Lanarkshire
and Renfrewshire. He has developed a training programme,
Surf IT, designed to engage and enthuse newcomers to the
internet.
Within Ayrshire, he has
established an ICT forum for trainers and others working
with the digitally excluded, to share ideas and best practice
and to offer mutual support. Chris has presented at workshops
at the Digital Inclusion Practitioners' Events held by
the Scottish Executive Digital Champions team and other
meetings and conferences.
Chris is experienced in
the provision of impartial ICT advice and support, having
worked as a business adviser for the Ayrshire Business
Technology Centre and for East Ayrshire Business Partnership.
The focus of the advice and support given has always been
the organisation concerned and its development, and how
it can best be enabled to meet its clients' needs.
Chris is very experienced
in the operation of ppvote equipment, and the facilitation
of sessions using ppvote; and also runs training courses
on how to use this equipment.

Lawrence
Nicola is responsible for
the conference and event management services, and has
organised both small and large events at a wide variety of
venues in Scotland.
Nicola is experienced in
research and evaluation work, and writes and compiles
background papers and reports for projects.

Gordon has graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MSc and BA (studying
geology) and is at Cardiff University studying for a PhD. He has good IT skills and has worked at the
design of basic web sites for the consultancy.
Ranald Lawrence
Ranald has graduated from the University of Cambridge (studying
architecture) and is working in an architectural practice in Cambridge. He also has advanced IT skills, as well
as being an accomplished designer and artist.
